(September 19, 2013) - Four-time GRAMMY®-nominated band Newsboys' new album Restart debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Albums Chart, adding another No. 1 record to their long list of career achievements, which includes over eight million albums sold, 30 No. 1 radio hits and five RIAA Gold Certified albums. Since the release of Restart earlier this month, the Newsboys have celebrated nods from numerous music critics, consistent gains at Christian radio and a strong stay at No. 1 on the iTunes® Christian & Gospel Albums chart.

As The Christian Post declared Restart "the perfect sound to reach a new generation of believers," the multi-platinum selling band unveiled the lyric video to their title-track, pop anthem "Restart" in a unique Facebook campaign. The pop-heavy lead single "Live With Abandon" is still capturing a significant audience at Christian radio with its message-driven lyrics and sonic beats. The single jumped to the Top 5 on the Christian AC Indicator Chart and is still reaching an audience of nearly six million. The single also maintains a No. 11 spot on the National Christian Audience chart and moved up to No. 16 on Christian AC Monitored.

Starting September 20, the steady touring band will bring their high-energy live experience to 20+ cities across the U.S. on their Restart Tour.
